A time tracker for people who work with coding agents

Stop logging
your hours by hand.

Trackbirds counts the time while your agent works, even when you're off in another window, and writes the description of every task for you. When you're done, just say send it to Trackbirds.

Works with Claude Code today.

Your tracker watches the window in front of you.

But that's not how you work anymore. You hand your agent a long task, go answer an email, come back… and the timer stopped twenty minutes ago.

Then Friday comes and you rebuild the week from memory: what you did, who it was for and how long it took. With Trackbirds that time is already logged, description included, even if you were looking at something else.

How it works

Three stops on the wire.

  1. 1

    Add the skill

Download it from your account and add it to your coding agent. Just once: it reaches every machine where you use it.

  2. 2

    Work as usual

No timer to start. If your agent keeps working while you're busy with something else, that time counts.

  3. 3

    Tell it to send it

    send it to Trackbirds

It works out the times on your machine, writes one line per task, and your day shows up on the web, ready to export.

What you see next

Your day, already written.

Each session of your agent is a wire. Stretches of work perch on it, each with a short description you didn't have to write.

Two sessions at once? Each one counts its full time, no splitting. And whenever you need it, export to CSV and take it wherever you like.

Privacy

What's yours never leaves the nest.

Everything sensitive is processed on your machine. Only the times and a clean summary of each task fly to Trackbirds.

Stays on your machine

  • What you ask your agent and what it answers
  • Your code
  • Paths, file names and server names
  • Client names, emails, passwords

Reaches Trackbirds

  • When each stretch of work started and ended
  • One clean line: Fixed a bug in the export
  • Content-free counters, so the maths can be checked

If someone broke into our server, they would see how long you worked and on what kind of task. Nothing more. And before anything is sent, your machine checks the text and blocks anything that looks like a key, an email or a path.

Questions people ask us

Which agents does it work with?

Claude Code, today. It's the one we use every day and we know it works well.

How is the time worked out?

It adds up the time you spend writing each request, the time your agent spends working and the time you spend reading the answer. Gaps where you stepped away don't count. Code on your machine does the maths, not the AI, so it always comes out the same.

What if I have two sessions at once?

Each one counts its full time. If you were working on two things, you worked on both.

Can I take my hours to another tool?

Yes: export a CSV for any date range and upload it wherever you need it.

What if I send it twice?

Nothing bad. If you send the same session halfway through and again at the end, it's updated, never duplicated.
